Three Months/ Friendsgiving

Last Thursday, our little girl turned three months old!!! Brad and I continue to be amazed at how much she is growing and taking in her world one day at a time. Brad and I were just commenting on how much she has changed in these past three months. It’s so fun to see her personality come out more and more. She has found her voice. She loves to ‘coo’ at us and she is so smiley. She recognizes our voices and gets so happy when she sees us. Each morning, she wakes up with lots of smiles, it’s my favorite part of the day. She is learning to sit up, with a little help. She can hold her neck up and look all around. We put her in a bumbo (a little seat/chair) and she really liked it! She has found her hands and loves to suck on them. She can reach out and grab and play with her toys. She is drooling a lot =) She loves to sleep on her stomach (only when I am awake to watch her) and loves to see what is going on all around her. We transitioned Sage into her crib last week and it is going pretty good. She’ll go to bed anywhere from 9pm-10pm and get up around 2am for a feeding and then around 6am for another one. Sometimes she’ll stay awake or will go back to sleep. The transition wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be. I think she really likes sleeping in her crib =) This past weekend, Genny and John hosted “Friendsgiving”. We all got together for another year of delicious food and good friends. This year, there were four little ones to entertain everyone. It was such a fun time and we are so thankful for great friends in our lives!!

Beach Getaway!

Last weekend, we went to the beach with the Bales Family. For Brad’s 30th Birthday, the Bales arranged a beach trip with all the kiddos. We had a great time!!!

We’ve had a lot going on in the past week.
Brad no longer works for Columbia Distributing!! He has a new job that he started on Monday with a company called Aspen BioFuel. He is very excited to be starting with a small company and helping it grow and succeed. He had been with Columbia for 8 years and it was time to move on!
His last day of work was last Tuesday, so we packed up the car and took a last minute trip to Medford to hang out with both of our families.

On Thursday, we headed up North to Seaside to meet up with the Bales family. Friday we got up, had a delicious breakfast and then went for a walk next to the beach. The weather was great in the morning and not too cold. Later that afternoon, we went into town for lunch and to play in the arcade a little. As we were headed home, we got stuck in the worst rainstorm and we were all soaking wet…it was incredible how fast the rain approached and how quickly we all got drenched in a matter of seconds. Needless to say, we stayed inside for the rest of the weekend.
We had delicious meals, tasty beverages, had a fire, watched lots of football and played a few card games. It was a perfect weekend to just get away and relax. I can see many more mini-family vacations in our future =)
Thank you Bales family for a fun weekend!!

Poppi and Deborah Visit

My dad and Deborah came to visit us this past weekend!
They came in on Friday afternoon, delivering lunch from Red Robin-yum!
Friday night we headed out to watch Tracey coach her cheerleaders at the Sherwood Football game.
Saturday we hung out, made some food and watched the Ducks play! Sunday we went to Big Al’s and celebrated Deborah’s birthday!
We are so happy that Dad and Deborah came out to visit and see all of us! Thank you to Dad and Deborah for making delicious food and treating us to a few good meals! We can’t wait to see them when they come out for a quick visit in December! =)

Halloween

This Halloween, we went over to the Bales' house to celebrate the holiday! We got all the kiddo's together in their halloween outfits. Sage and Brad were Oregon Cheerleaders, it was Sage's idea =) We had a great time with all of our friends and can't wait to watch these kiddo's go trick or treating in the years to come :)

A little play time the morning after :)

Sage at her First Duck Game

We did it!! We took Sage to her first Duck game and she was a good sport! She slept for most of the game, but I think she had a pretty good time =)

We set up our tailgater and Grandma and Grandpa Fetrow stopped by to visit! Grandma spotted the Duck near by, so we ran that direction in hopes we could snap a photo with the Duck!
Overall, it was a good experience and Sage got so much attention in her little duck outfit. People were coming up wanting to take pictures of her, which is a little weird, but she was certainly a cutie!
And it was nice for Brad and I to finally get to go to a game this season =)
