6 Months!
Our little princess is SIX MONTHS OLD!! We can’t believe it!
She is just a joy to be around and we love seeing those big brown eyes sparkle when she recognizes mommy and daddy! And that smile of hers is contagious! :)
Sage has been changing right in front of our eyes. She can now sit up all by herself and really enjoys that. She still is grabbing on to her feet, and now those feet have found their way to her mouth. She is constantly taking anything in her hands and bringing them directly to her mouth. When we hold her, she’ll lunge forward and give us big open-mouth kisses!
Sage LOVES her activity jumper. She is so happy to bounce in that thing and she can turn around in it to play with all the toys. She only has rolled over a few times and unfortunately, we always seem to miss the times she does- we’ll look away for one second and then she’ll be in a different position!
Sage was sick for about two weeks with a pretty bad cold- she had a hard time breathing, a nasty cough, runny nose, and fevers. There were several nights where she had to sleep with us holding her, so we weren’t getting much sleep either. But she is doing much better and getting back to her old self!
She is still talking, cooing and giggling! She can hold her own bottle and loves staring at her hands. She is out growing her 6 month old clothing and moving into 9 months. We are working on soothing herself to sleep at night and hopefully cutting out the one middle of night feeding.
She is such a happy baby and we continue to fall more in love with our little girl each and every day! =)

Ladies Weekend
A few weekends ago, we had a lovely girl’s weekend getaway and the boy's had a fun daddy day-care date!
Four girlfriends and I went into wine country in Dundee/Newberg and visited three different wineries. We had rented a limo and stayed the night at our friend Ariel’s parent’s house. Ariel has also recently got engaged, so we also made it into a fun little celebration!
Meanwhile, back at home base, Brad took on taking care of Sage. It was his very first overnight with just him and Sage and naturally, she was perfect as can be. She even slept through the night for him! Brad joined up with the other daddy’s to hang out and let the kiddos play together!
It was so nice to be able to get away with some of my favorite ladies and have some girl time, although I did miss little Nugget lots!!
Sunday was Super Bowl and Brad and I hosted a little party with close friends. It was so exciting for us to be able to have all of our friends over and have enough room for everyone!!

Sage's New Trick
Proud parents alert!!! Sage has mastered the "sit-up" position all by herself. We've been practicing with her to sit up on her own and then all of a sudden this weekend, she didn't need any assistance from us! We were so thrilled as it seems like it just happened over night! Our baby girl is growing up too fast! How do we make it stop!?! This is exciting as she is hitting the 6 month mark this week =) (And no, she has not rolled over yet, but don't think we'll get to that point for a few weeks since we spend less time practicing that!)

A Princess Wave
For a few nights Sage would drink her bottle and then wave her hand as if she has never seen it before. It was sooooo funny!!! We got the camera out to try and capture the moment! :)
