ND #11

I have not posted the nanny diaries in a little while. All the kids have been busy doing crafts, playing outside, and staying indoors to keep warm!

Evan is 6 Months!

Evan is 6 months old!!! Wow! Can't believe how fast time is going.

I love this age! He is learning so much. He is sitting up all by himself and playing with all kinds of toys, which usually find their way into his mouth. He's been eating solids for about three weeks now and is getting better with it- again, that hand is constantly in his mouth. But he is learning if he opens his mouth, he gets food!
Evan is also rolling over!! He has been able to roll from stomach to back for about 4 weeks now. BUT, from back to stomach has finally been achieved! I got a video of him doing it. If you let him, he rolls around the floor and it's funny to watch.
I'm not sure how much he weighs, if I had to guess, I would say around 18 pounds and he fits 9 month clothing perfectly!! I'm not sure if that will last a while or if he will be in 12 month stuff shortly.
I thought Sage was an easy baby- but Evan is VERY EASY!! He is just the best baby- never unhappy!! He lights up the minute you look at him and he is always smiling. He is coo'ing so much more and likes to raise his voice!
He loves his big sister- constantly watching her. You can just see it in his eyes, he wants to be running and talking just like her!
We just love this little man- love his big cheeks and beautiful green/gray eyes and his sweet smile!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful thanksgiving! We kicked off the holiday weekend with a trip to see Zoo Lights!

On Thanksgiving, Mom and Dad Fetrow arrived and we were very excited!

Brad made our entire Thanksgiving dinner, with help from Mom and Christine. Brad was excited to do the turkey again on the traeger and prepped it special with bacon. We spent the day playing outside, eating yummy food, watching football and playing a few games!

 

Saturday we went searching for the perfect tree! We decided on a small and quirky little tree for our home. Sage had fun running around, playing hide & seek with all of us! 

It was such a fun and relaxing weekend with the family. We had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa here and were sad to see them go! Can't wait to see them again!!

Zoo Lights

The Zoo had a special preview night for Zoo Lights for all the members. We decided to take advantage of the nice weather we were having and make it a priority to go! We had lots of fun checking out the lights and Sage loved all the colors. Even Evan was in awe- he didn't make one peep while we were out!

We'll be going back again before the season is over!
