Holiday 2014

Wow- it’s been a while! I can’t believe I let my blogging  go on for this long!!
My new goal is to just blog within the moment- sharing pictures and keeping short our recaps of what is going on!
I love going back and looking at what we’ve done throughout the past several years! I spent at least an hour the other day looking at pictures of when Sage was born and her first year of life and now I can REALLY see what everyone said of how Sage and Evan look alike!!

Okay- let’s recap!!
November-
*Brad started a new job being an insurance consultant for a company called Century Benefits. He got the job through a friend. Brad jumped right into this new challenge and did an outstanding job through the busy enrollment season and continues to excel in sales. I think he finally found what fits him and his personality! I’m really proud of him- but mostly, to see him so confident and happy with his new role!
*Our sweet new precious niece Quinn Marne’ was born 11/12 and so happy for her healthy arrival!
*Thanksgiving- We drove up to Pasco to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with the Casey family, my mom and the Solem family. It was a great time and we got to meet our newest and adorable niece, Quinn! We just love her!! She is sooo cute and her name fits her perfect! I can’t wait to see her grow up and how her and Harper will be the same and different! What I do know is that they are just absolutely adorable little girls!!!

December-
We had a very busy December. Both Brad and I were extremely busy at work. We didn’t do as much as we wanted to for activities within the month- but we managed to do a few. The kids got to meet Santa for the very first time at their school. It was so fun! The parents got to be there for picture opportunities and each child received a present from Santa. Both kids loved it- even with Evan crying on his lap. Because the minute he was off- he was pointing to Santa saying “Ho-Ho-Ho”.
December also brought on a month of illness. Seems like Evan was sick for a lot of this winter.
We had a wonderful Christmas with my mom coming up and spending the holiday with us. Evan ended up with croup on Christmas and was a long night for Brad and I, but he seemed to get over fairly quickly within a few days. The kids had a wonderful Christmas- both were spoiled by everyone!
Mike and Lynda joined us the weekend after Christmas. The kids were beyond happy to see Gangy and Grandma and Grandpa.

Here are a few pictures from those months.
