Duck Game and Snow

Well, it wasn't the outcome that anyone wanted, but we had a good time watching the game over at the Bales house.
Kids got along great and us adults managed to get a few games of Pitch in!

Cheers to next year with the Ducks!!

The next day we woke up to snow! We had no idea it was supposed to snow.
We got a chance to go play in it later in the morning and the kids had a really fun time. We did not make a snowman but we did make snowballs!!

New Years 2016

We spent the New Year with the Bales family, as it has become our tradition now for many years (we may have skipped a year or so)
We have a great time and the kids always end up having fun together.
Brad had to work late as it was a deadline day for work, but we went over to the Bales house to be able to celebrate NYE at 9:00pm with the EST feed.
It was fun- and a dance party broke out!
We got home in time to hang out with my mom who was in town and watched a movie and celebrated our time the new year!

It was a great night and looking forward to next year!!

Holiday's 2015

I think I start every blog off with how amazed I am at how fast time flies. I’ve been thinking for several weeks now that I should post about the holidays, but then I get so busy.

So, lets catch up!
This will be a big longs as I have many pictures to share from our holiday season.
But first, I’ll start with Thanksgiving. We hosted and the Casey family and my mom spent the weekend with us.
On Wednesday night, we all met up at the Oregon Zoo to see Zoo Lights. They host a member night the night before thanksgiving. We try to go when we are in town as it is the best time to go see the lights! The kids had a good time despite that it was dinner time and really really cold outside!! Thanksgiving was fun and we spent the day hanging out and playing with the kids.
The next day, Travis, Tracey, Brad and I went down to the Civil War game while Gangy babysat all four kids. We all had a great time at the game and the kids had fun with Gangy!

December is a very busy month for both Brad and I for our jobs. Brad is busy with open enrollment for insurance and I’m busy planning and managing events. Brad typically works later into the evenings and there are times I need to get a babysitter for night time so that I can be at work. We tried to squeeze in some fun Christmas activities around it all.  But we got to do a lot more the week of Christmas.
My Dad also was able to make it out for a quick visit!
We had our annual holiday night out with friends and had a good time. The next day, we went on the Holiday Express Train with the Bales family and had a gift exchange. The kids had a great time and even got to see Santa! We drove around the neighborhood and looked at lights while singing Disney Christmas songs, baked and decorated Christmas cookies, watched all our favorite Christmas movies and decorated a gingerbread house. Santa also came to visit the kids school and they got a chance to sit on Santa’s lap and talk with him. He even read them a book and sang Christmas songs. Sage was sooo excited!! She was so cute with how excited she was!
Mike and Lynda also came up and spent several days with us celebrating Christmas- the kids were happy to have them around!
Overall- it was a really good Christmas and it just keeps getting better every year!!

Annual Christmas picture before they see what Santa brought!

Sage's present from Santa- she asked for a princess dress with fairy wings and a tiarra!
