Sage took her first trip to Medford last week. My cousin's hosted a baby shower for me, so that everyone can meet Sage. It was a very nice shower and we all had a good time. Sage got to spend lots of time with her grandparents and Brad and I were able to go out on a date night!
Sage is 8 weeks old as of yesterday and getting so big. She is now out of her newborn clothing and in to 0-3 and 3 month old clothing. I’m not quite sure how much she weighs, but if we had to guess, we are guessing around 10 pounds. She has her two month check up next Wednesday.
As for us, we are all doing great. We are still learning a routine, but the nights are getting easier and I’m even venturing out of the house with her to run errands. She is smiling a lot more and likes to hear the sound of her voice. She can also follow objects that make sound. She is getting chubby cheeks that we just love to kiss all the time!
This weekend Brad and I are leaving her for the first time over-night to go to our friends wedding in Seattle. It will be hard to be away from her for a whole night, but I’m also looking forward to sleeping a full 8 hours! :)
In other news, our best friends, Alicia and Nick, welcomed their second boy, Nolan Campbell Bales. He was born on 10-12-11, and weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz and is 21 inches long! Nolan and mom are doing great and got to go home a whole day early! He is such a cutie and can’t believe they are a family of 4! Congrats Bales Family :)
