Beach Weekend

We were invited by the Bales family to join them for a weekend over at the beach!
It was such a fun weekend and both the kids loved the beach!!

We got there on Friday night and had a low key night hanging out. On Saturday after the babies napped, we headed to the beach. The really cool part was that you could drive onto the beach. We packed the cars with food and drinks, beach toys, kites, strollers, extra clothes and took off for the afternoon. It was the PERFECT day and we found just the right spot!
Sage LOVED the water and sand- although it took her a minute to get used to it. She loved letting the waves chase her! And Evan thought the sand was fun as well, but not too good to eat!
That night, we had a delicious dinner and walked to the local beach!
Sunday, we hung out and then headed home.

I’m so glad we got to go to the beach this summer, since Sage really understood what it meant! I’m hoping we make it over there one more time this summer!

Thanks to the Bales family for hosting such a fun trip! Hope to do it again next year :)

Trip to Medford

Forgot to post about our trip to Medford over the Memorial Day weekend. We left Thursday night so the kids sleep during the drive and came home on Monday early afternoon.
It was a great trip as we hadn’t been down to Medford in a really long time and it was wonderful to get to spend some time with my grandparents!
It was a really nice time and the kids loved seeing all the family.
I’ll look forward to making more trips home when it’s easier to travel with the kiddos.

Thanks to G’ma, Papa, Mom, Grandpa Mike, and Grandma Lynda for hosting J
