Work Appreciation

My company had an Employee Appreciation Party at our venue yesterday evening. We went and had fun playing in the arcade, enjoyed a yummy dinner and beer and even went Sumo Wrestling!

One day I said to Sage "Can you give me some Love?" and she gave me a big hug! Now when we say "love" she likes to hug...

I asked if she can give the bunny some "love" and this is what she did....

A Week with Gangy!

My mom came to stay with us all last week to watch Sage! We were sooo excited to see her and to have the help! She watched Sage since Brad and I were just in the final phase of figuring out our day-care. We did hire a full-time nanny named Mandie and we’ll be doing a nanny-share with the Myers family. So Laila and Sage will be hanging out four days a week! We are THRILLED to find someone as great as Mandie-she is wonderful with Sage and Sage just adores her!

THANK YOU to my mom who drove up here and spent the week with us! Even when I was sick, she was pretty much taking care of the household for us, while we figured out our new routine with Brad back to work. We appreciate everything you do for us Mom and we are so extremely lucky to have you there to help us when we need it the most! We can’t wait for your visit again =)

Silly Girl!

Sage's latest thing to do is put something on her head and crawl around. She'll either put a kitchen towel, a blanket or as you can see from the video, her jacket!

She also likes to put things in her mouth and crawl around! She is such a goofy girl and constantly makes us laugh!

Sage's Takes Her First Steps

I was so lucky to get this on film!!! I was originally trying to get her to dance. Brad sings to her and she just starts dancing- but not so much for me. It could be that I don't sing the right song or my horrendous voice!

10 Months Old

On Father’s Day, Sage turned 10 months old!! Wow, two more months and she’ll be 1 year!
We got Sage her first Cabbage Patch baby doll! Sage LOVES to give Katelyn (her official name) lots of kisses. Sage is growing so fast! She is constantly on the move, and she sure moves fast! She has taken a step on her own, but quickly falls down. She cruises along the furniture and walls all the time now! And her new favorite thing to annoy mommy and daddy is to open and close all the cabinets in the kitchen =)

She can clap her hands now- which all of a sudden she just did one day! She is a joy and I hope you all enjoy how much we post about her- she constantly changes or does something new every day!

Brad's New Job!!

As most of you already know, Brad got a new job!!! And today his is first day!!! He is pretty excited, but also pretty torn about leaving Sage. He knows that the transition won't be easy and it will take some time getting used to- it's just so hard to leave that cute face every day!

His new job is for Traeger Pellet Grills- which is based in Wilsonville and he is their Purchasing Agent. It only takes him 10 minutes to get to work, since it's all freeway and he goes the opposite direction of traffic.
Congrats Brad- we are so proud of you! We hope you have a wonderful first day of work!!

First Father's Day

We had a nice little Father’s Day celebration for Brad. Sage and I got up early and waited for Daddy to wake up, we couldn’t wait to give him his presents! We spent the morning just hanging out, eating donuts for breakfast and opening his presents. Sage got him a frame of her for his new desk, a stereo system for his iPod and iPad and he got a much-deserved “weekend getaway” with his buddies at the end of this month! He was really excited for that!! :)
We mostly just relaxed for the day and for dinner, we walked down to Max’s for a happy hour drink and meal and sat outside to enjoy the sun.

Brad has been spending everyday with Sage these past five months and he deserves more than just a day to celebrate him and all that he has done for Sage! I’m beyond impress with Brad and the way he is with Sage- you can just see the special bond that they have! Although we joke about him being Mr. Mom, he really is! He does all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, yard work, and grocery shopping (which I hate!), all while taking care of our precious little lady! We are extremely lucky to have a dad like him! We love you Brad and Happy First Father’s Day!!!

Sage has a New Friend

Sage decided yesterday that her and the 7 ft tall bear, Mr. Big, can become friends. Mr. Big has been sitting in the same spot for 3 weeks and she had no interest in him, until now!
