Fun on the Weekends

As open enrollment was coming to an end with the deadline of January 31st, Brad was working a lot of long hours and that included a lot of weekend time as well. I had planned on some things to keep the kids busy and get out of the house for some fun!

We went bowling for the first time with Bree and her kids. It was a bit chaotic, running around keeping the kids in line, but they sure did love bowling! And they talked about it for days after.

We found a new kid place to play at that they had a fun time- so we went there twice. And a few park visits as well!!

34 Feels Good!

I had a very nice birthday this year, thanks to Brad. He planned a fun little night with a few friends. We went out to dinner and then saw a show “The Book of Mormon” which was hilarious!! I can’t wait to see it again!!
Thanks husband for planning a fun little night and for all the friends that wanted to join!!

And thanks to Grandpa and Aunt Christine for babysitting the kiddos!!

Alicia had set up a painting class for us to do. It was basically a step-by-step painting experience and it was SOO cool! I loved every minute of it and had a blast hanging out with the bestie! Couldn’t have picked a better thing to do and got a really cool painting out of it. That is something I’ll definitely do again!!

Duck Game and Snow

Well, it wasn't the outcome that anyone wanted, but we had a good time watching the game over at the Bales house.
Kids got along great and us adults managed to get a few games of Pitch in!

Cheers to next year with the Ducks!!

The next day we woke up to snow! We had no idea it was supposed to snow.
We got a chance to go play in it later in the morning and the kids had a really fun time. We did not make a snowman but we did make snowballs!!

New Years 2016

We spent the New Year with the Bales family, as it has become our tradition now for many years (we may have skipped a year or so)
We have a great time and the kids always end up having fun together.
Brad had to work late as it was a deadline day for work, but we went over to the Bales house to be able to celebrate NYE at 9:00pm with the EST feed.
It was fun- and a dance party broke out!
We got home in time to hang out with my mom who was in town and watched a movie and celebrated our time the new year!

It was a great night and looking forward to next year!!
