Grandpa’s Retirement

Last weekend we drove down to Medford to celebrate Mike’s retirement, his last day of work was February 29th! We left early Friday afternoon to get down to Medford in time to surprise Mike for dinner, as he didn’t know we were coming down for the weekend. We pulled up, grabbed Sage’s car seat and placed it in front of the door, rang the doorbell and hid around the wall. He was absolutely surprised to see Sage just sitting there in her car seat! Saturday was such a beautiful sunny day in Medford. We took Sage on a walk but didn’t have our stroller, so we used the toddler stroller which she did great in. We put her in, buckled her up and she held on to the steering wheel and never let go. She was sooo serious during her “driving”, much like her mama! It was so cute!! That night we had a nice little family dinner to celebrate Mike.
Sage had a fun time spending the whole weekend with Grandma and Grandpa!
