Eight Months Old!!

Sage is Eight months old! I remember when I was eight months pregnant with her!! I wish I could slow down time, as she is changing and growing so fast. Literally, it is overnight! One minute she is struggling to do something, the next minute-she has it figured out!
I think this age is by far our favorite stage of her growth! We can actually see her learning things and figuring out things!

A day in the life of Sage:
Sage wakes up at 6:45am and talks to herself for about a good 15 minutes. I go and grab her at 7am and we go out to the living room and play and then we eat breakfast which is usually oatmeal with bananas, apples or pears. Yummy! After that she watches me get ready for work- she is mesmerized by the hair dryer :)
After I leave for work, Brad puts her done for her morning nap and she’ll sleep for a good 90 minutes. He spends the morning playing and entertaining her. Then comes lunch! She goes down for an afternoon nap around 1:30pm and sleeps for another hour or so! She spends the afternoon with Brad playing or running errands and sometimes a visit to mommy’s work =)
After work, I rush home so I can spend the next three hours with her. Our nightly routine consists of playing, hugging and kissing, sharing the details of our day, eating dinner, bath time, reading and evening bottle!

Sage can now get into a crawling position and scoot herself backwards. She can back herself up into a sitting position now! No more being stuck on her belly! She can grab onto something sturdy and pull herself up into a standing position (!!) She is talking just the same and can now say “ga ga” and “kkkkha” like she is saying “duck” or “book” (clearly she is not, but sounds like it =) )

She is a master of putting her pacifier back into her mouth. She can sit in a grocery cart all by herself and almost prefers that than the stroller. And now she is STANDING UP in her crib! Yikes- what happened to our little baby girl?? She is sure adventurous! We love just watching her, talking back with her and seeing her learn all kinds of new things.
Brad and I keep talking about going on a date night, but we just can’t seem to tear ourselves away from Sage! We love just being with her and want her to go everywhere we go!

Here are a few pictures:
