Sage's New Wagon
Tonight we took a walk to the park with Sage's new wagon. She loves it!!! You can tell she feels like a big girl in it! We went swinging for the first time and went down a slide! I think we are at that age where she might enjoy the park a little bit! Here are some pictures and video, I just couldn't help myself :)
This is Sage's new favorite thing- playing peek-a-boo with her blankies. So cute!

9 Month Check-Up
Last Friday was Sage's 9 month check up! Here are her stats:
Weight- 19lbs. 3 oz (57 percentile)
Height- 28 inches (66 percentile)
Head- 17.75 inches (80 percentile)
She has only gained 3 pounds from her 6 month check up. And she has gotten taller-yay!!
Dr. Elia checked out all of Sage's sores and said she is healing perfectly, so that was great to hear. And we didn't have to do shots this time-YAYAA!
Here are some pictures from our visit to the doctor!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit
Grandma and Grandpa Fetrow came to visit this past weekend! We had dinner on Friday night at the Spaghetti Factory and Aunt Christine also joined! Sage had her first bite of ice cream!!! She loved it and wanted “more”.
Saturday we went down to the Portland Saturday Market and walked around and ran a few other errands! Saturday night Brad and I attended our friends engagement party while Sage got to spend some quality time with the grandparents. On Sunday, Grandpa and Brad set up Sage’s first wagon that Grandma and Grandpa got her! She LOVED it and was ready to go for a spin, but it was raining! It was so great having them up here! Sage got all kinds of love, hugs and kisses from them!! Thanks for making the trip up Grandma and Grandpa!

Gangy's Visit
My mom came up for a whole week to visit and hang out! We loved having her up here! It was extremely helpful with her here to help with Sage's icky skin infection. Sage got lots of hugs and kisses from Gangy. Thank you so much mom for coming up and spending the whole week with us! You were a huge help and allowed us to have a date night and get some things done around the house!

Nine Months!
It's official-Sage is nine months old! She has been alive longer than it took to create her!
The difference between nine months carrying her and nine months of watching her become her own person is beyond words. She truly lights up our world! We can’t go five minutes without just giggling with how cute and amazing she is! We often imagine what she’ll be like 3 months from now, 2 years from now or when she is a teenager (eeek!! Thank goodness we have all those years to prepare!) She has moved on from being our sweet cuddly baby- she is on the move, exploring her world and understanding her boundaries!
Sage loves to:
• Use her sippy cup like a big girl
• Crawl from room to room to see what is going on
• Cruise (taking steps along the edges of furniture)
• Stand on her own (learning how to balance)
• Play in her crib when she doesn’t feel like napping
• Give kisses (she’ll give you a kiss if you ask!)
• Say DaDa...allllllll the time! Gangy was working with her to say MaMa this week
• Wave (still getting the hang of it)
• Take tissues and pull them apart (it’s very entertaining to her!)
• Play Peek-a-Boo
Happy 9 Months baby girl! We sure do love you =)

Date Night
Brad and I took advantage of my mom being in town and went on a much needed date night! We had a little fun and played a fun "date night" game. It starts off by going to a place for an appetizer and giving you questions to talk about, and then you go somewhere different for the entree and answer "would you rather" questions. Brad and I decided to just stay at the one place we went to, but ordered our appetzier and entree! Then we had to go to a store and buy each other a present under $2. It was a simple little date night, but we had a lot of fun and had some interesting topics of conversation!! We can't wait to do it again :)
Thanks Gangy for taking care of Sage!!

Sage Update
On Monday we took Sage into the doctor again because we felt that maybe one of her chickenpox was infected and she was not a happy baby :( Her sores had spread more. We saw a different doctor as it was scheduled last minute and this doctor also confirmed that Sage does not have the chickenpox. She has a staph or strep skin infection and needs to be on antibiotics! We find out Wednesday what kind of infection it is. We are happy to finally have an answer as to what Sage has and that she can take medicine to heal! Bad news is: we are not out of the woods yet for chickenpox.
After being on antibiotics for over 24 hours now, she is a much happier baby and all her sores are starting to heal!!

Mother's Day!
It was my first official mother’s day! I had a wonderful day spending it with little Nugget and Brad. I woke up to breakfast being made for me! I also got a few cards and some presents! And the sweetest card from Sage =) Our plans changed a little for the day as Sage was very cranky from not feeling well with her chickenpox or whatever she has. We thought it was best to stay inside, out of the heat and sun and just take it easy.
Even though Sage wasn’t feeling well, we still had lots of fun playing, crawling around and learning how to stand on her own!
My life was forever changed when I became a mommy to the most amazing little girl 9 months ago! Being a mother is who I was meant to be :)
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there! And a Happy Mother’s Day to Judy and Lynda! We love you!!

Chickenpox
Sage has chickenpox :( It's harder on Brad and me seeing her with them than it is for Sage. We cringe each morning as we see how much they've spread and how they seem to have gotten worse. It's bitter-sweet; if she was going to get this then now is the perfect time as she is not aware of it. It doesn't seem to bother her yet. We have been doing oatmeal baths and changing her diaper almost every two hours as she has it the worst down below :(
Her buddy Nolan also has chickenpox and poor lil boy has got them pretty bad :( He has been a trooper and is on the mend! Let's just hope Sage is too!!

Giggles
Last night while playing with Sage she made me laugh. She stopped what she was doing, looked straight up at me and started laughing! I tried to keep her giggles coming! It was so cute =)
