Fourth of July

Fourth of July was pretty mellow for us this year- which was really nice! Once Evan woke up from his morning nap, we packed a lunch and walked to the park to have a picnic. We decided to walk across the street and play in the water fountains as well! Sage loves having picnics and Evan seemed to enjoy it for 5 minutes before he wanted to go explore!

As we were walking, we saw a Fire Engine parked at Big Al’s- which Sage was very excited to see!

Later that evening, we went to our friend Genny and John’s house to have a BBQ and watch some fireworks. Sage was not a fan of the “loud fire-crackers” and pretty much wanted to stay inside. I hope next year she is a little more excited about them.
