Ladies Weekend

A few weekends ago, we had a lovely girl’s weekend getaway and the boy's had a fun daddy day-care date!
Four girlfriends and I went into wine country in Dundee/Newberg and visited three different wineries. We had rented a limo and stayed the night at our friend Ariel’s parent’s house. Ariel has also recently got engaged, so we also made it into a fun little celebration!
Meanwhile, back at home base, Brad took on taking care of Sage. It was his very first overnight with just him and Sage and naturally, she was perfect as can be. She even slept through the night for him! Brad joined up with the other daddy’s to hang out and let the kiddos play together!
It was so nice to be able to get away with some of my favorite ladies and have some girl time, although I did miss little Nugget lots!!
Sunday was Super Bowl and Brad and I hosted a little party with close friends. It was so exciting for us to be able to have all of our friends over and have enough room for everyone!!

Sage's New Trick

Proud parents alert!!! Sage has mastered the "sit-up" position all by herself. We've been practicing with her to sit up on her own and then all of a sudden this weekend, she didn't need any assistance from us! We were so thrilled as it seems like it just happened over night! Our baby girl is growing up too fast! How do we make it stop!?! This is exciting as she is hitting the 6 month mark this week =) (And no, she has not rolled over yet, but don't think we'll get to that point for a few weeks since we spend less time practicing that!)

A Princess Wave

For a few nights Sage would drink her bottle and then wave her hand as if she has never seen it before. It was sooooo funny!!! We got the camera out to try and capture the moment! :)

Sage and Nolan's Baptism

On Sunday, January 22nd, we had a joint Baptism with the Bales family for Sage and Nolan. It was a wonderful day where all family and friends gathered to support these two precious babes! We were excited to share the day with the Bales family, as Nick and Alicia are Sage’s Godparents, so it made sense to just do it all together!

Grandma and Grandpa Fetrow made it up for the ceremony and got to spend some time with Sage. Sage wore the same gown her Great Grandfather Clarence Fetrow wore and Brad also wore it for his baptism, so it was very special for her to wear it and it just looks so darn cute on her! We added the hair bow for a pop of color ;)

Thank you to the Bales family for hosting the gathering after and for everyone who was able to attend. It really means a lot to us for those of you who made the time to be there.

My 30th Birthday!

Yes, the day has come and gone, I am now 30 years old! I’ve never been one to make a big fuss about my birthday and I have wonderful friends and a fantastic husband who always try to make it special each year, and each birthday, I end up really happy I celebrated it with a fun little party. This year, I didn’t want anything big, just a dinner with some close friends. When I originally started thinking about my 30th Birthday, I wanted to do a black and white party with everyone wearing black and white, decorations would be black and white, but I also thought we’d be in a house by then as well to plan a party like that.
But I think it all worked out perfectly because I had the most fun at my 30th Birthday. We went to dinner at Widmer Brewing and then we headed downtown to a place called Voicebox Karaoke. They have private rooms with couch seating and your own private karaoke set up. It was so much fun and it was perfect as I love singing whenever there is a microphone present, but only in front of my friends =)

We all had a fun time and thank you to my wonderful husband and friends who made it a special night!
What also made my 30th Birthday special was the fact that we DID GET TO MOVE INTO A HOUSE!! We moved into our new home that we are renting the very next day! I’ll post more about that soon :)

Love Brad's face in this picture, if only he knew what I was wishing for ;)

Clearly I'm taking this whole singing thing seriously ;)

Feet and Bath!

Sage has found her feet! I was changing her and all of a sudden she just started grabbing on to her feet. We ran and got the camera :) Now she plays with her feet all the time!

Here are a few pictures of Sage taking a bath. She just loves it! Can't help but post these ;)

Snow!

Here is a video of Sage seeing her first snow! However, we did not go out and play in it, but she did like to watch it fall! Enjoy!

Five/Four Months Old!

Our little munchkin is growing up so fast!! Sage had her four month check up on December 22nd. She is healthy as can be! She weighed in at 14 lbs 7ozs and measured 25 in. She is a little shortie! She got a few more shots at this appointment and her doctor says she is right on track! Yay!!!
We are still working on tummy time with her and she is able to fully support her head and raise her body up while on her tummy. She has “sort-of” rolled over, she gets help from mommy and daddy =)
She LOVES talking! She has realized that her voice can go high and loud and she likes hearing that! She loves sitting in her bumbo so that she is able to see us and watch what we are doing! And we love to just stare right back at her!
Sage is completely on formula now and she seems to like it just fine. I’m a little sad that she cannot get breast milk anymore, but she made it to about 4 ½ months with it and we’re thankful for that. With drinking formula exclusively, we now have more poopy diapers! Yayaaa!!
She is in six month clothing and has been for over a month now. She is learning how to giggle and laugh! When we laugh at her, she tries to do it too. She loves it when we say “Boo” to her, she giggles each time, thanks to our cousin Breeann for getting that started! She smiles each time we pick her up from daycare, phew!! ;)
That’s the update with our little princess!
Love those chubby legs!!!

Her face makes me laugh! I feel like she is trying to be a tough for her up coming shots!

Waiting for our favorite Dr. Elia!

Four months :)

We celebrated New Years with the Bales Family! The kids were really excited (can't you tell-at least Wyatt was!) However, us adults had a great time!! :) Happy New Year!!

Sage and her friend Laila Myers. Sage wanted to hold her hand, so sweet!

Five months!! January 17th!
