Fourth of July (Week 31)

It was a nice and relaxing weekend for Brad and I...no wait, we painted all weekend, scratch that!! Haha!
We also spent the weekend running errands, hanging out with friends, catching a movie and having a few lunch/dinner dates!

We are excited to have the nursery finally painted and we just LOVE the colors! At first, we didn’t know how bright we wanted to go, but we also don’t know how much longer we are in the condo, so we thought, why not!? We painted the largest wall in the room teal, the smallest a lime green and the other two walls a light grey! It all turned out perfect :) We still have a few more things to do to complete the nursery and also waiting for the crib bedding, but we think it’s the most fun room in our home :) We peak in all the time and smile at how fun it is! I’ll post pictures once we get the room set up!

This fourth of July, we headed down to the Blues Festival on the Waterfront with Kim and Sam! We were able to get into a special VIP area that Brad arranged for us and got the perfect spot to watch the fireworks.

Pregnancy moments this past week:
*I started to notice that I lose my balance at times. Mostly I’m just tripping over myself, not sure how it’s possible, but I manage to do it.

*I have been feeling some intense kicks or movement. It’s so crazy! I’ll just feel this pressure and place my hand over it and I can feel either a foot or knee or elbow...something! But it’s different from the times before because I think I’m actually starting to be able to make out what it is that is poking me and how the baby is positioned. Like the other day, I could feel hiccups on my right side and then all the way to my left side, I felt a foot jabbing me. It’s fun...I often try to get Brad to feel it too, but sometimes it’s like Baby knows that Dad’s hand is there and doesn’t want to play...or hurt him, just mommy :)

*I’ve had a few co-workers tell me that I’m starting to pop a little more. It’s funny to hear when someone thinks you look bigger than you did just a few days ago. Of course, I can’t really see it, but I sure can feel it!

*We had a third baby class...and I’m just happy that we have one more left. That is all I’ll say about that =)

Baby Update:
Little Nugget measures over 16 inches long, weighs about 3.3 pounds and is heading into a growth spurt (oh joy!!). Baby can turn its head from side to side, and arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath Baby’s skin.
