Labor Day Weekend

We had quite a busy three day weekend! Friday night, Brad and his buddies had a Fantasy Football Draft party while Sage, me and my friend Genny had a little girls’ night! Saturday, we got ready for the first Duck game of the season! Since Brad was running a half-marathon on Sunday morning, we decided against going down to the game. Our friends Ariel and Ben hosted a Duck BBQ where we hung out with friends and watched the first quarter of the game. Sage had two Duck outfits for the day-but she rocked her Duck shoes for both!!

Sunday, Brad ran a Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) in Oregon Wine Country. He was on a team with a few of our friends! He ran the race in under two hours, his official time being 1:52!! He was pretty happy with that! Great job to Brad, Sam, Alicia, Marissa, Davena and Jim!! We did celebrate with a little wine afterwards =)

We also got to visit our friends Bree and Sean who just had a baby girl, Baylee! She is so tiny and was so fun to visit with them. Believe it or not, I was extremely nervous holding little Baylee. I didn’t know how to hold something so small and it was only a year ago that Sage was that small!! Brad remembered pretty quickly however! Sage had no interest in the baby, but kept us entertained by walking around with a blanket on her head!

Looking forward to next weekend- another Ducks game and we are taking Sage! We’ll see how that goes ;)
