One Week Old

Sage is one week old (as of yesterday!) I'm shocked how quickly a week has passed.

Sage has had a hospital/house full of visitors each and every day!!
The first people that Sage met was her Uncle Travis and Aunt Tracey and her Godmother Alicia and Godfather Nick! They were all there at the hospital to see her within her first hour of life!
The next day we had all kinds of friends and family stop by and they all spoiled Sage with gifts and lots of cute clothes!
Friday we came home from the hospital around 2pm and spent the afternoon together. Brad’s parents arrived Friday afternoon for the weekend, my mom arrived on Saturday night and my dad flew in on Monday morning. Sage got to meet all her grandparents right away, and they all just fell in love with her!

It’s been a great first week. I don’t think Brad and I could have gotten through it without the amazing help from our family and friends.
Thank you Mike and Lynda for coming up and taking care of Sage while Brad and I could rest, and cooking dinner and doing laundry!
Thank you to my Mom who stayed with us for 5 nights to take care of Sage and help around the house!
Thanks to my Dad for coming out to see her and spending time with her, oh and buying her diapers :)
Thanks to Travis and Tracey who helped take care of her each night while we went to bed early, for babysitting and feeding!
Thanks to Genny and John Richardson for yummy enchiladas
Thanks to Kelly for yummy lasagna.
Thanks to Alicia and Nick for providing amazing support and for always taking our calls with tons of questions at all hours of the day and for dinner and beers our second night of being parents!
Thanks to Kim and Sam for providing a sign-in picture frame for all Sage’s visitors to sign!

And thank you to all our friends and family who have called to check in and see how we are all doing! It’s been the most amazing week of our lives! We can’t stop smiling, we are so happy!
