So, last week I got my results back from my Glucose Screening Test. Turns out they were elevated. Nothing to be too concerned about-I'm okay and so is baby :)
They said my test results were at 175 and the cutoff is 140. I'm not sure what all that means, but they asked me to come back to do more testing.
So currently, I'm sitting in the doctors office for the second test. This test takes about 3 hours. Oh joy! Thank goodness I let Brad talk me into getting an iPad to keep me entertained for the next 3 hours :)
For the test, they take my blood after fasting for 12 hours and then I drink, once again, the lovely sugar drink and then they test my blood every hour for the next three hours. I'll know the results by tomorrow or the next day and will keep you posted.
Again, baby and I are fine-in fact as I write this, little Nugget is kicking all over because of the sugar overload :)
